On-site Repair

We can visit your home, business or workplace to instigate diagnosis and subsequent repair. With regard to networking or peripherals this the preferred option as we can see the issue first hand and subsequent diagnose.

Lab Repair

It may be necessary to remove your PC to our PC lab for repair and testing. Our PC lab contains the specialist equipment needed to backup your data, recovery files and interrogate the hard disk for errors.

We recommend repair in the PC lab in the following cases -

• PC startup problems
• Virus detection and removal when infected
• General performance problems (PC freeze's / locks up)

The above issues are generally symptomatic of a PC which would benefit from a 'health check' or 'clean up'. Cleaning up a PC requires several diagnostic programs and utilities to be run against the PC. Each of these typically take an hour or longer to run. Although these could be carried out 'on-site' it is more cost effective for the customer for us to carry out these procedures in the 'PC lab' as we are then able to monitor several machines simultaneously.

Upgrades

Is your PC running slowly? Unable to install/run that new software? Hard drive near capacity? Need a bigger monitor for gaming or that complex Excel spreadsheet ?

It is usually possible to upgrade your PC to breath new life into your entire setup.

We can:

• Upgrade the amount of memory. Increasing the amount of memory is not expensive and can noticeably improve performance.
• Upgrade the sound and graphics cards to run the latest games.
• Fitting a CD-RW or DVD-RW will allow you to write data, audio and movies to a CD/DVD.
• Upgrade or replace the entire base unit. We are able to supply the latest laptops or desktops tailor made to your requirements.
